A Fun "Assignment" to Introduce the FlashMaster

At first, when time permits:

An adult should try to figure out as many of the keys of the FlashMaster on her/his own by experimenting with it and reading just the labeling on the top of it.  The adult should then carefully read the "Guide for Teachers and Parents" that accompanies each FlashMaster.

In the case of children, the FlashMaster should be treated as a fun and largely solvable puzzle.  Although it has many powerful features, most of them are obvious and very easy to use.  Normally, even young first-time users should be:  (1) challenged—as in the case of a fun puzzle—to spend at least 15 minutes (more or less by themselves) trying to figure out as much as possible about the FlashMaster and each of its keys by playing with it while looking for "clues" in its display and in the labels on its top: and then (2) patiently encouraged to explain, key by key, what they have discovered.

But, in the case of an adult, when time does not permit or as a second step in the process of introducing the FlashMaster, we suggest using the fun "Assignment" that can be viewed by:

or by

The "Assignment" should be given to an adult with virtually no explanation.  She/he should be told that if she/he reads and re-reads the directions at the beginning of the Assignment, she/he can figure out the Assignment on her/his own and figure out most of the features of the FlashMaster in the process of doing so.
